Why Personal Registrations for me?
This site has arisen from an interest in personalised registrations that evolved from playing travel games whilst sat in the back of may parents car on long boring journeys.
My parents would set me the task of spotting a car with the number 1 on its registration, then a number 2, then 3 and so on. The idea being to get to as high a number as possible by the time we reached our destination; and of course they had to be in order.
I soon came to realise that many of the registrations that I was looking at spelt names and words; and so the interest was born.
I could not wait to acquire my first personal registration, although it took some years to save up the funds required to make the purchase. I became the proud owner of C10LNB - supposed to look like COLIN B.
Once I was driving around proudly with my own personal registration, I was getting asked about it from my family and friends. Due to my interest, I was already familiar with the requirements of transfering registrations, so found myself dealing with the whole process on behalf of family members and friends.
A few of my acquisitions include the following;
T77RRY was acquired for my father Terry for his birthday;
DRE51T for my sister (a Wedding Dress Designer) and more recently
ST03VEN for my brother Steven, although this has been sold on.
The above are simple examples of what can be achieved with personal registrations and are the ones closest to me as they are all for my immediate family. I have however sourced a significant number of registrations for range of people and for a range of reasons.
